Public Opinion Strategies

Public Opinion Strategies is one of the nation’s top research firms based out of Washington, DC. They specialize in political, public affairs, policy, and corporate positioning research and public relations. They needed a complete overhaul of their website and blog, both of which had major organizational problems and an outdated interface. Since their tagline is “Turning Questions into Answers”, we thought what better way to sell their brand, than to showcase some of their extensive, successful case studies in the form of a typographical Q & A. This theme pervades the imagery and messaging of their new site and brings a level of concept and cohesion that they were lacking paired with a modern user interface. The other challenge involved redesigning and heavily reorganizing their blog. The new design includes a much more appealing, image heavy landing page with easy to navigate sub-category navigation, a rotating featured article banner, cleaner type style choices, and a user-friendly back end that makes updates quick and simple. A fully restored architectural staple of downtown Washington, DC, the Hamilton Hotel provides the best in luxurious accomodations for a stay in the nation’s capital. A website redesign was meant to update their web prescense without losing the historic charm of the establishment. The result utilized a warmer Americana color palette, a textural background, some minimal script and serif typefaces and floral accents to achieve an historic look on an otherwise modern web layout. The design drives focus on a large rotating image area and then flows comfortably down the lefthand side of the page in a way that quickly directs the user to the navigation and straight to a booking widget to drive business.

The Courts are a brand new, upscale apartment community located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. The deluxe amenities and close proximity to the SEPTA station make it ideal for the young, single professional. The website mimics the vintage style of the rest of the creative campaign. The site utilizes a moving header that follows the user down the page. This is done so the whole page is one piece and can be dynamic in terms of the design of each individual section instead of having a templated look for consistency. The full creative campaign can be viewed here.
